Laird: "The above recordings by Vessella's Italian Band [masters 14272, 14274, 14286, 14288, 14296-14298, 14309, 14314] show what are presumed to be master numbers which look remarkably like the Brunswick masters allocated around the time these discs were released (apart from the absence of an 'X' prefix denoting a 12" master). However, the numbers shown do not match the Brunswick recordings allocated these numbers, and the source of these recordings is unknown." |
