Laird: "Three of these masters duplicate the first electric recordings made on April 7, 1925 (see above). There is no indication on the recording sheet that this duplication had been noticed, and as the experimental nature of the electrical recordings meant that there was little chance these duplicate masters would have ever been issued, the duplication was probably not considered significant."
