The New York Times of Sept. 19, 1930, notes that the event broadcast "will serve as a climax to a holiday declared [in Camden] in celebration of the concentration of the research, manufacturing and engineering activities of the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company at that point, which is expected to help the unemployment situation."
Personnel noted derive from a New York Times listing announcing the broadcast. They are not confirmed and it is not known on which part each individual was recorded.
