Ema Destinnová

Emmy Destinn (Ema Destinnová ([ˈɛma ˈdɛstɪnovaː] (listen)); 26 February 1878 – 28 January 1930) was a Czech operatic dramatic soprano. She had a career both in Europe and at the New York Metropolitan Opera. She was one of the greatest opera singers of the 19th and 20th centuries.
