Notes: The Library of Congress names file states that “Albert Clemens” is a pseudonym of Cripple Clarence Lofton. However, Bob L. Eagle and Eric S. LeBlanc, in "Blues: A regional experience" (2013), state that Albert Clemens is the younger brother of Clarence Clemens, aka Cripple Clarence Lofton. Dixon/Godrich/Rye states that he is believed by some to be Clarence Lofton, and his real name is Adam Wilcox. Pseudonym used by Albert Clemens.
