Laird: "A handwritten note on the Vocalion sheet against masters B6839 & 6840 states: 'Not using.' The missing LAE masters are presumably alternate takes of the above selections, but no details are known. The date of January 12, 1928 has been given for these recordings, but this is most likely the date the Vocalion masters were assigned."
