Laird: "Chicago masters C1035-58 are not noted in the Brunswick ledgers. The recording sheets for the next two sessions [July 6, 1927 and July 8, 1927] show only the 'E' series masters and claim these are the 'same as Chicago masters E-----' and go on to give the five digit New York masters already listed instead of the four digit 'C' series masters usually referred to in this context. Due to this error by whoever prepared the sheets it is not possible to say precisely which 'C' series masters the 'E' series masters were assigned to, although the following sessions certainly account for the major part of the missing C1035-58 block of masters (as they represent 20 out of the 24 missing numbers)." |
