Laird notes that "although assigned master numbers in the New York 'E' series, the following group of recordings made from September 22 to September 24, 1925 all have recording sheets headed 'Chicago Recordings.' Curiously, all these Chicago recordings are by West Coast artists!" [The master-number range represented in the group of recordings is E16427-E16449.]
