Notes
Source(s): Rigler-Deutsch Index; disc.
Orchestra: 9 men, plus banjo.
Noted in Laird: "This is the first recording sheet to specify that a specific recording studio was being used. A second studio had been in use from July 17, 1924 to September 24, 1924, and masters recorded in that studio were allocated numbers in a 'B' matrix series. It is not known why the designation of 'Room #1' on this sheet and 'Room #2' on a sheet from another session made on the same day (see below) began to be noted on the sheets at this time. There were certainly two studios in use during the second half of 1924, and perhaps this notation signifies that Room #2 had not been on line since the end of the 'B' series in September. No further details are known."
Disc label: "For dancing."
Session indicated as recorded in the AM.
