EDVR vol. 2 associates this master with a planned issue, Vi 5135. The authors state that there was no issue in the United States, but that it was published in Canada. A test pressing of Vi 5122 in a private collection bears this master number, etched in the wax. Vi 5135 was possibly considered for use as an issue of the previous master, B-4312.
The Discography of American Historical Recordings aims to comprehensively document the history of early commercial sound recordings. Objectionable and racist content does not reflect the values of the University or its staff. Further information is available here.
