Peruvian duo Montes and Manrique recorded over 150 masters for Columbia in October 1911. Issued masters were released on the 91 double-faced discs in the Columbia “P” series and most issue numbers and titles are known from contemporary catalogs. This matrix is one of about 70 masters from the known span of Montes and Manrique sessions where the master has not been associated with a specific title but was likely issued in the P series. DAHR editors welcome additional data from Columbia discs with this matrix number. |
