Notes
Date for take 1 is incorrect in EDVR vol. 1. According to ledgers, takes 1 and 2 were recorded on Feb. 28, 1901.
Also recorded as [PM-]1217.
EDVR vol. 1 notes that M-3017 through M-3029 were originally marked as 'assigned to Sousa's Band' but that the recording books read 'Sad—not up to required standard—destroy.' Kendle's Band was then required to record the same selections. Since no numbers were pre-empted for the Sousa versions, and no dates shown, it can only be presumed that they were done on these same numbers.
